Being a South African farm, based alongside the majestic Orange River, we specialise in the production and export of various varieties of table grapes.
Founded in 1940 our philosophy is simple; we believe in producing the best quality product possible whilst promoting the conservation of our beautiful environment and the social well being of all individuals aiding in all the successes of the farm.

The farm consist of a 100 hectare table grapes with a broad selection of varieties which ensures that we stay up to date with new and upcoming market demands.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Omdraai has invested in solar energy with the hope of one day becoming 100% self sufficient. We hope to one day to not only provide energy for the farm but also to contribute to the energy needs South-Africa by harvesting energy and putting it back into the grid.
To ensure clean and safe water for all, Omdraai has a state of the art water filtration system. All water leading to housing facilities must first go through our advanced water filtration system. This ensures clean drinking water for all employees.
BLACK EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS
In partnership with 64 shareholders (all permanent farm workers) we have invested in 2 BEE project farms. Stage 1 of this project started in 2010 and to date has yielded its 5th successful harvest of which the profits are shared amongst all shareholders.
